Halo 4 Mountain Dew Spartan Lifesized by Hyperballistik Halo 4 Mountain Dew Spartan Lifesized by Hyperballistik
This is a comparison picture of my 2 week Mountain Dew Spartan suit I made for DragonCon 2013, Its not perfect but its close. my suit was made from Eva foam and the helmet was a casting from the original Halo 4 Recruit helmet I made from pepakura. I did have a Halo 4 Mountain Dew bottle but I didn't want to ruin it so I just used a regular bottle for the parade

I'm curious, how did you get the ribbed texture of the belly region of the armor done so nicely?

Not sure by what you mean ribbed texture but if your meaning the circles, those were done with a Dremel sanding drum

That was exactly what I ment, I'm glad you got it despite my lack of descriptive skills.
And thanks for answering. ^^
I was playing with the thought of making a Halo suit myself after seeing your work here and on the 405th, but so far I seem to lack the tools to even get started.

Best bet is to start with foam builds, you really don't need a lot to work with foam, just need a hot glue gun, razor blades and templates, that's all I use on my foam builds, you can get a cast helmet from someone selling one make life easier when making a complete set of armor
